Originally from Brazil and Argentina, dog lovers and owners ourselves, we were living in Madrid when the Covid pandemic struk. We thought that working out of our holiday place in the Algarve would make lockdown easier, so we got on the car expecting to be away for 2 or 3 weeks, but we never came back.

 

A couple of months later we decided Portugal would be our permanent residency, and it was not the only major change in our lives. After long and successful careers in Advertising and Telecommunications, and being lucky enough to live in a magical place, spending day after day in front of the computer started to make no sense, but what else could we do?

Our dog Bock came to our rescue.  He made us realize that our passion for dogs, combined with our business experience, would allow us to spend our days with the most amazing creatures, making them happy while they would make us the happiest persons.

 

So we went back to studying. We are now certified in Canine Psychology and Training, and in Dog First Aid, CPR and Safety. We designed and built Bockland Dog Club, and the rest is history…
